Texture Thursday: Beach

After a few days stay at the RACV Club in Melbourne city, taking in some culture (the Johnson Collection, the opera Don Giovanni and a couple of lovely restaurant dinners with family) we drove back down to the Mornington Peninsula. We took the "scenic route" home along the beach road and stopped numerous times to photograph some beaches & piers.

  1. I love these! Not sure which I like best. Maybe the pier shot with water and foam around the footings. Although the sand is an excellent texture shot :) I must say, I miss the Peninsula. So much of my life was spent there, especially at Rosebud of course.

  3. I have not heard of the Texture Thursday meme, I must consider joining sometime. These photos all have great texture, difficult to choose a favourite but probably the second one.
Thanks also Liz for your recent lovely comments on my photography blog and for becoming a follower much appreciated.

  11. It's a bit difficult to choose a favourite here as I'm liking them all for different reasons - particularly the posts on the wharf.
