Willy Wagtails are often difficult to capture as they move about so quickly but this particular day, I got lucky.
Hmmm... not sure he's impressed ;)
I love the facial expression... "Come on lady! Enough already!!"
"Maybe she will go if I start preening a little?"
"Nope!! That didn't work!"
"Forget it! I'm not turning around. You have your shots!!"

I love the name of the bird and you captured him so well. He seem to tolerate your camera peeping in on his preening.
ReplyDeleteLovely crisp and clear shots. I don't think I've ever seen a Wagtail's expressions before - love it that he looks grumpy, it's just so not what I'd expect, I always think of them as such happy little birds.
