We have new visitors in our back yard Grevillea. A pair of Pale-headed Rosellas. I've been wanting to capture these birds for a while as I came across one on a recent trip out west but I couldn't get close enough.
Thanks to my 20 year old daughter who noticed these Rosella in our yard, I was able to get my camera, change lenses to the "stalker lens" and capture a few shots...
They sensed me watching and moved to a more protected part of the tree, still keeping an eye on me...
Later in the afternoon, they came back to the tree and I was able to capture the entire bird. They are beautiful and quite colourful.
