"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Weekly Top Shot: BLUE
One of my favourite times of the day/night to shoot. Blue Hour on the Hastings River, Port Macquarie, NSW.
You are very clever at taking photos at this time of day, plus your city light shots too. I hope you are recovering as well as possible after your surgery although I'm sure you had to deal with a fair amount of pain during the process which I'm sorry about. That was a beautiful post you dedicated to your children in a previous post, it was lovely to hear you write with pride about them and their achievements - especially when raising them was obviously a joy but had hardships as well. You must beam when you see their relationship with your husband. We've just got back from traveling up the coast and I'm looking forward to having some quieter days during the holidays. I let stress get the better of me during the pre-Christmas period (although leaving for the trip on the afternoon of the last day of work, packing and having to gave the house ready for people to stay in while we were away may contributed to it!!)
