Earlier in the year, we had a few days of very heavy rain (basically, the only rain we have had this year). As I have been wanting to shoot waterfalls for quite some time, Michael & I drove up to the Sunshine Coast to explore some of the waterfalls with our friend, Steve, who is a local.
First stop was Cilento Park in Nambour, a small park with a very little known waterfall. Our timing was perfect as it was in full flow.
Next we drove to out to Kondalilla National Park. As it was late in the afternoon, we took the shorter walking track which is a 3.5km return trip.
The view from the fist look out was stunning.
There were further breaks in the trees which provided beautiful views of the layered mountain range.
The track takes you to the smaller falls and rock pools. It was so serene.
