"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Liz, love the cows and clouds. These are gorgeous photos. So grateful that you left a comment on my blog, thanks for being so honest and sharing about your own struggles. It touched me deeply.
I'm envious of how you can make whatever light is available work for you! The first and fourth shots are wonderful. The more I look at this set the more I think they are all terrific.
The last shot is fantastic! There is so much texture in the clouds. I'm excited because tomorrow I get to go out and just spend time with my camera. Something that's been lacking as of late. For my birthday my wife told me to take some time and try out my new lens. Best present ever seeing as time to go out an get lost in my photography hasn't been easy as of late due to commitments!
I'm not sure what your plans today are Liz, but I think you should cancel them and take those last two photos to your local photo shop and get them enlarged and put on your wall. They're amazing.
love the cattle. i think the brahma are so cool! beautiful light in those skies, too!
ReplyDeleteI love it when the cows are looking right at the camera. What would they say if I could understand them? HA!
ReplyDeleteThe photo with cloud cover is emotionally moving. Thanks for linking.
