Today is the first day of Winter and the skies want to make sure we know that!! It' s a cold, bleak and rainy day, not the kind of day for capturing skies. So I am going to share some shots from a much nicer Autumn afternoon & evening...
About 6 weeks ago, we took a beautiful drive in the rural area between Brisbane & the Gold Coast. The countryside was gorgeous and so were the skies.
Our day ended in a small town called Jacob's Well with a beautiful sunset looking across to Kangaroo Island & colour reflections on the water. It was a lovely way to finish the day.

It's weird to think of someplace having winter right now, but that's the cool thing about the Internet. You get to experience something on the other side of the world. The clouds in your photos are beautiful, Liz! I love the shot of the gulls against that backdrop! Beautiful shots!

Love the linear look of the clouds in your first three photos. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteI've just caught up with your last three posts. There are big skies - which everyone must love. But for me it was the semi-silouhettes that really were the stars of the show. Thank you.
