  8. Oh Liz, what an incredible sunrise! I'm always so amazed how different they are when I go, different colors with different brushes, but always beautiful. 5:28 is my favorite!!

  15. It's a while since I commented because when I look at your photos I would always end up using superlatives that eventually seem meaningless. Every so often, of course, you come up with a photograph that really says something to me (and I'm sure different ones speak to other people who look at your blog). Not long ago there was a lovely church door, for example. I love doors and windows. I see spectacular sunrises a lot but I see fewer sunsets so this one gave me particular pleasure. In this case the all superlatives are used to meaningful effect.

  16. That’s a great sequence of pictures - it's a nice example of being able to wait and wait for the sky to change.

    You are not wrong about the weather being damp - I was in QLDs all week and I think I saw the sun twice!
