This was my third "lifer" from our day trip down to Burleigh Heads in July. The Eastern Reef Egret has two phases; the grey phase & the white phase.
This particular bird looks a little the worst for wear...
I know it's a little blurry but I had to post the "catch of the day"...
Definitely looking quite shabby. But don't you just love the hair do in this last shot!!
