SkyWatch Friday: Nudgee sunrise

Back in March, I photographed my second ever sunrise. It wasn't full of incredible cloud formations BUT it was incredibly beautiful just the same!

  1. That certainly was worth getting up for and watching. It is seldom one sees the halo around the sun so clearly.
Love the light picking out the different ripples in the sand as well. A truly magnificent scene and sunrise!

  4. Clouds are nice, but these photos are great without them! Those ripples (and their shadows) in the sand and the colors reflecting on the water are AMAZING! Love these photos!

  7. You have made this old Nudgee girl very happy. I've never seen the beach look so beautiful. Mind you, it's many long years since I was there at sunrise, too. Glorious shots, thank you.

  9. You're right - these shots have an actually silence to them. Which in my opinion makes each one glorious - well done. I was up your neck of the woods last weekend. Thanks for the good weather! Renee.
