Golden Hour at Minnippi Parklands

"Lost - yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered, for they are gone forever." ~ Horace Mann

One of my favourite "go-to" places for sunset is the local lake in our area. If the clouds are cooperative, you can be assured of a stunning sunset along with the resident bird life.

The serenity is therapy for your soul. The colour is a feast for your eyes.

  1. HI Liz, I was thinking what a lovely, gentle sunset. Then came the fire at the end. Impressive!

  2. Very pretty. This is how I feel about our local river too. Nice to have a nearby place to catch a few minutes of those golden hours when you can.

  5. What stunning shots - it was lovely to see the sunset unfold.

Whilst all the pictures are eye catching, the second and third are my favourite. I really like when greenery frames a scene.
