Sunrise at the Point

I shot this sunrise in January 2014. I hadn't posted it yet because I wasn't happy with my editing process with the first images looking down the jetty. I have had a lot of time to go through some of my old images while recovering from my surgery and I came across these again. I had another play around and, to be honest, I'm still not entirely happy with the first 4.

I figured I should post them anyway. I will still have another play around with the RAW images in Lightroom 5 but don't think I will be entirely happy until I do a course in post processing.

(NB: The first 4 images show the very subtle changes that occur over 10 seconds after the sun breaks the horizon)

    They are beautiful images Liz. It sounds like you have bigger plans for your photos and are certainly passionate about them. A good way to use your post op days for sure.

    I think you may be begin a bit hard on these images - they look like pretty good sunset shots to me!
