I love discovering old images, not previously edited. These images are from my trip to Sydney in March 2014 for my older brother's 50th birthday.
An opportunity to reminisce about time spent creating cherished memories with family.
We took the Manly Ferry to Circular Quay. It was a perfect day on Sydney Harbour -- Blue skies, fluffy clouds, mild winds and sail boats.
Picture postcard perfect
Bridge climbers
Iconic views -- The Sydney Harbour Bridge and ferries
Sydney Opera House
Campbell's Cove at The Rocks
Cruise ships
All in all, a memorable day.

Sydney Harbour by Night
Last year, I visited Sydney for my brothers 50th. I caught up with a couple of photographer friends one afternoon to shoot the harbour by night. We met up at Circular Quay during the afternoon, had a bite to eat at one of the hotels before shooting from a couple of vantage points.
We didn't have a lot of time after dark as they had to get home to their children, who are still teenagers, so I didn't get to as many spots as I would have liked. However, I truly appreciated their company and them making sure I was safely on the ferry back to where I was staying.
Sydney city skyline from Mrs Macquarie's Chair...
Sydney Harbour Bridge from the same location...
Circular Quay taken from the same location as my first shot...

The Gap, Watsons Bay, Sydney
I was in Sydney for my brother's 50th birthday in March, and we did a little exploring the day after his party.
We took the ferry from Manly to Watson's Bay on a beautiful sunny day
It's only a short walk from Watson's Bay ferry terminal through Robertson Park, across Military Road to the headland.
The Gap is a spectacular ocean cliff of the South Head peninsula in eastern Sydney, NSW.
These views were taken from the lower lookout...
The cliff is popular for sightseers but has unfortunately also become infamous for suicides.
The views are stunning! I only wish we had more time to walk around this area... We were on our way to another destination.
Next time I am in Sydney, I will take more time to explore the beauty of this area and more...

Sydney Skies
A couple of months ago I flew to Sydney for my older brother's 50th birthday. I wasn't originally going due to finances but my cousin called a couple of days before and said she would pay half the cost of the flights and I was to stay with her and her husband.
Although rain had originally been forecast, we had beautiful clear skies. It was a wonderful weekend.
The day after my brother's 50th, I did a little exploring in the city. It was amazing to see the Overseas Cruise Ship Terminal right in Circular Quay. This wasn't the case when I last visited Sydney 10 years ago.
I enjoyed a quick early dinner in the outside dining area of The Pier One Sydney.
The view from my cousins apartment in Manly is stunning.
