Texture Thursday: Natural

I LOVE natural texture... even in the simplest and most ordinary things.

I feel honoured to have come off a blogging break (due to moving house) and to discover I had been selected as a winner for Texture Thursday a few weeks back with my seagull in flight.
Thank you Audrey for hosting this linky.

Texture Thursday: Honey?

There is some thing beautiful about texture from nature. I am allergic to bees but have a fascination for capturing them with my camera. They are so intricate - the wings, the "fur", the stripes, the legs... beautiful.

Texture Thursday: Beach

After a few days stay at the RACV Club in Melbourne city, taking in some culture (the Johnson Collection, the opera Don Giovanni and a couple of lovely restaurant dinners with family) we drove back down to the Mornington Peninsula. We took the "scenic route" home along the beach road and stopped numerous times to photograph some beaches & piers.

Barn Charm: Rural Brisbane (Australia)

Some of these have been posted before in my Rural Inspiration post. I was asked by Tricia at Bluff Area Daily to link up with this weeks Barn Charm. I also decided to have a little play with textures in Picnik... not sure about the results as texture is quite out of my comfort zone.
I have included the before shots too...and would LOVE it if anyone can tell me how to do the mouse over.

Thanks for stopping by.
