Sky Watch Friday: Chasing Rainbows

A few weeks back, Michael & I went for a rural drive, seeking out lovely scenes & possibly a bird or two. It was a beautiful afternoon, with very changeable skies and so we ended up chasing rainbows...

And sunrays...

I love the brightness of the rainbows. You did well with these. I think the double one with the shack might be my favourite. But the last picture is so full of interest too. Xoxo

I love the rainbows. Especially the double rainbow with the old building.

I really like the second last shot how you've captured the expanse of the rainbow arch, and your last shot is quite powerful. It must be so good to be able to spend this time with your husband on your drives to get some time out from the everyday as well as being able to click away and capture some lovely finds like these.

It's been a real treat for me reading your posts for the past couple of weeks while I've been away. I particularly enjoyed the walk through the trees. And today's rainbows are delightful.

Rain clouds definitely have their compensation - and you have displayed that superbly here - thanks!

Wow...that second one is spectacular with the double rainbow. Maybe there's a pot of gold in that old building. ;)

Wow! These shots are one in a million Liz. It isn't often that your able to catch the all elusive rainbow. Great job with these. I'm hoping to get out next weekend to the bird sanctuary finally!! There hasn't been much time but I got one of my two new lenses so I have to get out!
