"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
~ Elliot Erwitt
I like sunsets with water reflections. it is a little underexposed though at the trees :)
ps. i am in this week's fabulous friday too. this is the link to my friday post if you are wondering :) : http://picablocks.blogspot.com/2012/07/graduants-shot.html
Oh Liz, what an incredible sunrise! I'm always so amazed how different they are when I go, different colors with different brushes, but always beautiful. 5:28 is my favorite!!
It's a while since I commented because when I look at your photos I would always end up using superlatives that eventually seem meaningless. Every so often, of course, you come up with a photograph that really says something to me (and I'm sure different ones speak to other people who look at your blog). Not long ago there was a lovely church door, for example. I love doors and windows. I see spectacular sunrises a lot but I see fewer sunsets so this one gave me particular pleasure. In this case the all superlatives are used to meaningful effect.

That’s a great sequence of pictures - it's a nice example of being able to wait and wait for the sky to change.
You are not wrong about the weather being damp - I was in QLDs all week and I think I saw the sun twice!
