Summer Sunset at Currumbin Alley

Last night I was looking back to when I started blogging, just over 3 years ago (4 July 2011). My first post was to explain the meaning behind the name of my blog.

Tuesday, 19 August 2014, marked 3 years since I bought my first DSLR (19 August 2011). It was then that my passion for photography and sharing the beauty of my part of the world began. It's been interesting watching how my photography has evolved and developed. It's been a lot of fun, some frustration thrown in, and great therapy.

I am extremely blessed to live in a sub-tropical climate, with relatively mild Winters. However it's been raining steadily for a few days now, so here's a Summer sunset I prepared earlier...

There are 1440 minutes in every day... 1440 opportunities to capture a moment of beauty.
What moment of beauty have you captured recently?

It's been an interesting journey hasn't it in terms of documenting and being able to look back with so many visuals. I'm so pleased you purchased that camera - it certainly went to the right person! Thank you again for your encouraging comments, they don't go unnoticed.

We live in a very similar climate, but with very little rain and humidity.

Wow!!! Awesome sunset pictures!! I just loved the stunning views of this place. You know I am going to Port Macquarie for my pre wedding shoot and looking for an experienced Port Macquarie Photographer
