We took the ferry from Manly to Watson's Bay on a beautiful sunny day
It's only a short walk from Watson's Bay ferry terminal through Robertson Park, across Military Road to the headland.
The Gap is a spectacular ocean cliff of the South Head peninsula in eastern Sydney, NSW.
These views were taken from the lower lookout...
The cliff is popular for sightseers but has unfortunately also become infamous for suicides.
The views are stunning! I only wish we had more time to walk around this area... We were on our way to another destination.
Next time I am in Sydney, I will take more time to explore the beauty of this area and more...

One can easily spend years exploring the Sydney coastline. I had a chance recently todo some walks from Clovelly to Bronte Beach with great rolling waves coming in.
