Puzzle Time

When my children were growing up, one of our favourite holiday activities was puzzles - the more challenging the better. We had numerous puzzles, all quite difficult. This was one of our "family bonding times" each day - some time each day/night chatting and working together. Some days we would just put in a few pieces as we walked past the "puzzle table". It can become rather addictive!

My step-daughters haven't done much of this growing up, so these holidays I suggested they choose a puzzle, we set aside a some time each day to sit together. The plan was to finish the puzzle by the end of the week (or sooner) and start on another.

The girls chose "Where's Wally".

What a great opportunity for a photo story!!

A visit from my 20 year old son (just because he loves dropping in) and the men had some bonding time...

Last piece...

FINISHED!

And the next puzzle in progress is "Dinatopia"

We're big on puzzles too. Over the Christmas holidays we had the whole dining table (8 seater) covered in completed puzzles! There were even puzzle races amongst some and the neighbour's children joined in too. Great holiday activity.

If I see this it´s tickles in my fingers and I want to start one to :) Thanks for linking up to *Highlight Sunday*. It would be nice, if you make a backlink that others can also join in. Thanks :)

Jigsaws are such a great holiday activity. We did them as kids, and my girls did have them in holidays as well - we just didn't manage them too well, and they would always lose some of the pieces. So it was never quite the same. So much fun now!!!
