"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
~ Elliot Erwitt

I've never seen this kind of duck. They have pretty blue bills.

Nice looking ducks. These are new to me.
Beautiful ducks! We live very close to a lake, and one of the duck families just had babies. They are the cutest little things. Gorgeous shots!

Nice photos of the ducks. I went looking at ducks this week-end too but will post them later.
Liz, if you leave me a PM with your email address via the comments on my blog I will not post it but will know how to contact you to give you details of where and when to see shorebirds.
I love these!!!!! Your images are always so beautiful, crisp & vibrant! Love that!
Beautiful shots! I particularly love that 4th one.
what beautiful pictures of Miss mallard! We have a lot of ducks by us since we live by a lake - and I never get tired of watching them - if only I could get up close enough to let one take a picture lol - they are very suspicious of us humans.
