Project 366 Rewind {Week 25 & 26}

I'm getting so far behind with posting on Blogger & editing my images. It's a combination of being overwhelmed by my chronic health conditions, increased pain levels and a week of solid rain. The rain last week resulted in me slipping in the Queen Street Mall and flaring up my neck and shoulder injury (severe whiplash) from my car accident. I didn't manage to get out with my camera much in this 2 week period BUT, thank God for Instagram & my iPhone 4S!!

It's been hard to focus on the positives when life is filled with constant physical pain, but I'm not going to allow this to control my life. I need to pick myself up and keep moving forward... and remember to smile!!

Here are my last 2 weeks of shots:

Day 169 (June 17) - Winter in King George Square, Brisbane.

Day 170 (June 18) - I've posted this already for World Bird Wednesday, but this was my favourite shot from June 18.

Day 171 (June 19) - Roses are red...

Day 172 (June 20) - An Instagram challenge from a friend, 9 shots in B&W.

Day 173 (June 21) - I didn't take any images this day, but thanks to Instagram & another collage challenge. It was difficult to choose from all the wonderful bird shots I have accumulated since discovering my love of bird photography!

Day 174 (June 23) - This was my post on Instagram for #fencepostfriday. It's a shot I took on my holiday in Melbourne last December but with the addition of an edit (so a new image compared to the original). I love fences.

Day 175 (June 23) - As we were leaving to do the grocery shopping, I noticed the beautiful cloud formations. I just had to snap it with my iPhone!!

Day 176 (June 24) - It started raining, which meant no photography, but some posting fun on Instagram. This is the rear door of St Andrew's Uniting Church in East Brisbane.

Day 177 (June 25) - More rain... but a challenge from a friend on Instagram to post #4formyfriends & #mybestblues. As my friend was from the Mornington Peninsula, where I grew up, I created my collage from my December holiday images. I gave her the challenge of guessing where these shots were taken.

Day 178 (June 26) - I love photographing Silver Gulls (aka Sea Gulls). They love posing for the camera!

Day 179 (June 27) - Another shot taken on my iPhone 4S... after publishing my World Bird Wednesday post. It's still raining!!

Day 180 (June 28) - The prompt for #photoadayjune (on Instagram) was "On the shelf". Two of my favourite things on our bookshelf are a wedding photo and my glass jar of shells from numerous places in the world. Taken again on my iPhone because it's still raining...

Day 181 (June 29) - Dramatic sky.
The sun came out today for a little while, so we packed a lunch and stopped at Cleveland Point on the way home from a specialist appointment.

Day 182 (June 30) - Silver Gull reflection in a puddle of water left over from days of rain.
