Today I'm joining up with a fellow Queenslander, Instagrammer and Blogger friend, Lizzy, at I Heart Sunny Days who lives in the far north of our "Sunshine State" in what looks like paradise. I love the beach (I grew up on the beach) & the mountains... and Lizzy gets the best of both worlds up in Cairns. I suggest you Google the area. It's simply divine!! I'd love to get up there one day for a holiday.
Anyway, back to the reason for this post. Instagram is a wonderful photography based world. It's like blogging in real time & rather addictive. There is so much talent on there and so many great hashtag competitions and challenges to join in with. And all from the medium of your iPhone or other Smartphone (no need for a computer)!
Here is my past week via Instagram.
The week involved:
A walk in the local parklands (top left), reminiscing my September/October 2010 trip to the UK & Europe with a photo of Pulteney Bridge in Bath (top centre) and Selsley Common in the Cotswolds (top right).
A night time shoot between the 2 Hornibrook Bridges creating a "ghost" effect (middle left), my "Rusty Thursday" submission (centre), my submission for Macro link ups (middle right).
My submission for "Fence Post Friday" (bottom left), a classic vintage "punch bug" (bottom centre) for an inter-continental, year long, punch bug "competition" with 2 fellow bloggers I follow on Instagram Jessica & Stasha, and finally an afternoon by the bay (bottom right).

i love the fence photo and the old vintage tractor in the field.
I am on Instagram Liz but so far I have resisted the temptation to get involved as I really do not have time for any more social media. It certainly sounds as if you are having fun with it though. Your instagram mosaic is a great way to capture your week.
Liz!
