Beaches of the Mornington Peninsula: Sorrento Beach

Sorrento is one of my favourite beach-side suburbs on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula! I have wonderful memories from my childhood here and on a neighbouring beach. These images were taken in January this year, during Summer.

The Queenscliff-Sorrento Ferry comes in to dock at the new pier...

The historical Sorrento Jetty is a favourite photography subject of mine...

The beach on Port Phillip Bay is a lovely place for families to spend warm Summer days.

Here is the same jetty taken during a foggy Winter day last year...

Nice shots - I know where these are! We used to come over from Queenscliff 3 or 4 times a year on the ferry when the kids were very small. Made for a good day.

Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

I especially love the foggy photos! Thanks for checking in. I'm doing pretty well. Just don't have it in me to blog I guess. But who knows maybe I'll get back at it someday
