A little bit of This or That... Flowers, Birds...

There is a lovely grassed & treed area in our new townhouse complex. It is a wonderful playground for birds - particularly Honeyeaters & Rainbow Lorikeets. The Rainbow Lorikeets particularly love this tree. I am not sure what it is though...

I like the second photo best. They are keeping an eye on the stalker lady with the cool camera.

They are such beautiful birds. A common sight up here as well. That tree looks like an Umbrella Tree, Schefflera. The Rainbow Lorikeets love the fruit on these trees. I've seen them over-indulge and looking a little woozy after feasting on them.

Oh, I'm not sure what I love most the photos or the fact that you live somewhere that you can take those amazing photos - I'm a bird person so I'm just loving these!!

Wonderful colour contrast of rainbow lorikeets and flowers! Knowing they adore fruit, there must be some fruity element in this tree!

Such lovely colours in these photos - apart from that I really like how you've filled the frame in a sense with the 3 stems/branches. Particularly love your third shot. Alot of times when I'm on school playground duty lorikeets come in and hang around the area, I'm expecting my principal wouldn't approve but of course you know each time I'd desperately like to pull out my sale and start clicking away.

Wow. Love all this color. What kind of plant is that. Are those blossoms or berries?
