Project 366 Rewind {Week 22}

Linking very late this time around. This week marked the arrival of Winter. It's been quite chilly for us "Northerners" and the first 3 days saw almost continual rain, just in case we didn't realise Winter was upon us!!

Here are my shots for the two weeks:

Day 148 (May 27) - I've been trying for months to come across a Willy Wagtail that will allow me to get close enough & sit still enough

Day 149 (May 28) - Brisbane, the "River City". Taken after my usual Monday afternoon appointment with my Musculoskeletal specialist

Day 150 (May 29) - Portrait of a Pacific Black Duck

Day 151 (May 30) - Rural Brisbane... one of my favourite places to capture our beautiful country. A perfect place for peace too!

Day 152 (May 31) -  I didn't take any photos today. But, I did post one of my older images on Instagram & Facebook and a tribute to my grandson:
My beautiful grandson Matthew is 2 years old today. I have only a handful of photos of him between age 9 & 10 months (had him in my life for 5 short weeks). Praying one day the Denehy family will see him again. My heart breaks every day. Miss you so much little Matthew. Happy 2nd birthday little man!! Your Nanna loves you. xxoo ❤

Day 153 (June 1) - Beauty in branches...

Day 154 (June 2) - Scottish Thistle death - beauty in life & death.

Great capture of the willy wagtail - they don't like to sit still, do they? Also love the thistle shot. I'm always surprised by how such a pest always looks good in photos, even when dead.
