A lovely drive out to the Beaudesert area with Michael after my 2 doctors appointments yesterday resulted in me coming home with just over 100 images of beautiful rural scenery and a lovely sunset with the beautiful backdrop of the "Scenic Rim" mountain range.
Only a few hundred metres further down this country road, was an even better view for the sunset...
And behind me the sky was a different kind of beautiful...

Liz, I just love that top shot of the fence, nice shot looking down it! =)
And the cow looks very curious about that woman w/ the camera! heheheee
Beeeautiful sky & sunset shots =)
Before I started blogging, when I'd think of Australia I'd think desert land, very dry, etc... but I've definitely learned different, esp thru your blog! Thanks so much & keep it up!!! =)
Great set Liz, but the 6th one, of the tree, is beautiful. A lovely part of the world.
Gorgeous photos! I especially love the cow!
Excellent photos;
I can't pick a favorite.
And beautiful scenery
(or you made it look that way).
Thanks all! It really is a pretty spot and so many different photo opportunities.
I think the beach and the country are the places where I can be the most creative :)
Awesome shots... Well worth the drive!
ok, someone knows what they are doing here. you are a great photographer ... neat ones!! i was going to pick a fav ...but i can't. enjoying these again. (:
the fences were the last thing i noticed in those images. the scenery is amazing. really nice work, in an even more stunning place.

Great shots! Lovely colours!
I wish you a Happy Friday...evening!!
Such beautiful scenes and captures!
Happy swf weekend.
So beautiful. Your photos are lovely Liz!
I always claim the day a success when I come home with lots of good pictures.
I am so glad I don't have to pic a favorite...I surely love several of these. Especially the one of the tree and the one looking down the road. But then I like the one of the with the 2 cows...more up close and personal than the other but not really that close if you know what I mean.
I love shots 1-4, beautiful light and countryside.
Great pictures, we can not imagine here in Belgium that we have to drive so far to go to the doctor.
Greetings,
Filip
It was a great impromptu turn off the highway. We didn't even get to where we had planned. What views! And clearly so much more to explore. Liz you did a fantastic job with these photos.
Looking forward to our next drive of discovery together. I love our photography trips.
Signed, your loving driver ;)
Awesome series of photos. I love the cow and the gorgeous skies! Thanks for sharing, Happy Skywatching!
Oh, my! I couldn't begin to select a favorite from this photo shoot, BUT, if you twisted my arm, might say the first one. Love the way you kept the interest strong in the foreground. Still, I also thought the more long views give an appreciation for your country's amazing landscapes that we may never have a chance to see for ourselves. And well done on chasing the sunset--how fast it changes.
It is always fun to scroll down to a picture of a fence with a cow peering back at you!
What beautiful scenery. I love your photos. Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
What gorgeous scenery! I love the photo of the cow looking through the fence.
Love that first image...another wonderful collection.
Hi there - very nice set of pictures. I like the way you have used the fence lines and power wires to pull the viewer through the picture.

I learned to always look behind me during a sunset too! Some of my best shots were taken from that perspective.
Oh, Liz, I'm so glad you stopped by and left a comment so I could find my way back here. Now, I'm embarrased about the photos on my blog! LOL! Man, these are beautiful. I'll be following along in hopes of picking up a few lessons of great photography by observation!! Thanks again for stopping by. blessings ~ tanna
Wow! Such drama caught in all of these photos. Hope you had a great weekend. I was looking forward to getting out and taking some shots for the first time since my surgery, but that hasn't happened so far because of a car that decided to break down!
Great photo shoot, the five last my favorite!
i'm loving this set! a great couple of fence shots, throw in a cute cow, great skies, fields... ahhh...
Wow! You have come such a long way in just these last few months. Sure, a proper DSLR camera helps but I can see a huge improvement in the quality of your landscap photos. The way you compose each photo really brings out the atmosphere through the photo! Perfect; keep going!
All of these are beautiful! Fantastic sunsets...
um..hmm.. love all the pictures. There is something about clouds that is so peaceful to me.
