Poetic Winter Challenge {in Summer} - Calm

CALM... What a perfect theme for this week! If you read my Skywatch Friday post you will understand why. Even during the storms of life, we need to look for peace & rest. I find that when I am stressed, soaking in the beauty of nature has a very calming affect. Here are some of my favourite things...

Beautiful sunsets.

Raindrops on roses.

Butterflies

Country scenes.

The beach.

A "bowl" of hot chai tea with honey... and a delicious slice.

One of my all time favourite treats - Turkish delight!!

Candles, especially scented ones. I find candles extremely calming & could watch them for hours.

What gives you a sense of calm?

These photos in turn have made me feel calm - there's so many to comment on, the composition of the pink roses with the water drops, all your country scenes, in particular your last one with that light coming through on the left, Turkish delight? Yum. And that superb candle flame shot- it's calm but also strong.
