Project 366 Rewind {Week 8}

Another week of Project 366 Rewind gone... doesn't time fly??!! The theme for the week was LOVE. I photographed a few things I love this week with nature being my focus.

Day 50 - Delicate blooms. I am not sure what this flower is but it caught my eye at Roma Street Parklands.

Day 51 - Eastern Water Dragon. At the parklands, these lizards are EVERYWHERE - sunning themselves all along the pathways, in the gardens... everywhere! I have never seen so many in one place.

Day 52 - Cosmos "Candy stripe". Flowers are one of the things I love and this beauty caught my eye. I love the bright, contrast of colours.

Day 53 - A productive day booking appointments & tests... (It stormed & rained all day so I had nothing better to do)
Suffering from chronic illness (some listed in my profile) means LOTS of specialist appointments, regular blood tests and too many xrays, ultrasounds and scans. On Monday I saw a new Neurologist who ordered more tests & scans, and I had others needing to be booked. So, on Wednesday, I was on the phone booking everything required by my numerous doctors & specialists - 2 MRIs, 2 ultrasounds, a scan, Nerve conduction studies, Holter Monitoring and blood tests.

Day 54 - Raindrops on roses. Roses are probably my favourite flowers - with the addition of raindrops, even more beautiful.

 Day 55 - Fire in the sky. With all the storms this week, the sunsets were amazing. Who doesn't love a sunset?!

Day 56 - Toadstools in my garden. I discovered a whole lot of toadstools in the front garden... but no fairies.

I am looking forward to seeing what everyone else came up with last week.

liz,

we have the flower in the first picture in our country (named god's own country)...

it is called 'vadamalli' which means the flower which would last long braving the nature...

Hi Liz. Nice to meet you and thanks for following my blog. The Nature Jotter said I was from Australia, but I'm actually from the USA. Your photos are beautiful and I love seeing the lives of people from all over the world.
I hope your tests go well and that you can get help for your chronic illness.
I am now following you too.
Blessings Barb

Lovely collection Liz. I especially like the cosmos -- one of my favorite flowers in the garden.

Good luck with your tests. Not something I'm sure you enjoy doing, but necessary.
