World Bird Wednesday: Water Birds at Wynnum (Part 2)

This post is part two of my trip to Wynnum waterfront (continued from last week) where I managed to capture 5 different birds that I'd never seen or captured before in real life. I shared 2 last week and here are the other 3...

Pied Oystercatcher

White-faced Heron

Little Egret

Gorgeous photos, Liz!
Your blog is true wonder!
The Pied Oystercatchers are real beauties and certainly a waterfowl I'd love to "capture"!
The heron is great too!
I will certainly be back!
Cheers!

Great photos of your 3 new birds. We birders/photographers are never satisfied so I suggest you now need Sooty Oystercatchers and the other Egrets :-)

Hi there - very nice shots of the oystercatcher - they are such a great bird.

I've been lucky enough to band some of these birds - and they are just as good looking in the hand as they are on the beach.

I took some of the Kookaburra shots with my macro lens!

Cheers - Stewart M

I like the bright beaks and legs of your first bird. I was telling our friend from pieces of contentment I watched photo finish last night ( thurs) on the abc at 8:00, I hadn't seen it before, I liked it.

I love these. The herons look so regal. The egrets are always so interesting. The oystercatchers are so attractive. They sort of remind me of puffins - nothing like them, really, but a bit comical in appearance like them. I really like them. And your pictures are so clear. Xoxo
