Water Sport Sunday
On Sunday afternoon we took a drive down to one of my favourite sunset spots - Wellington Point. It's a popular day trip destination all year round but Summer brings out all the extreme water sport fanatics and makes for even more interesting photography.
The kitesurfers are rather amazing to watch... now that's some real "air" he's getting.
Coming in to land...

And a sharp turn creates some impressive spray...
The sunset was impressive too.

Skywatch Friday & Scenic Sunday: From Mt Martha beach
On Thursday evening we drove down to Mt Martha beach to photograph the sunset as a rain front was developing across the bay in the Geelong/Queenscliff area.
As we drove down the hill towards the beach, we were greeted by this stunning scene:
Once on the beach, I was in my element. This is possibly one of my most favourite sunsets.
Notice the line of gold on the water's edge in the last image?
For those who may wonder, there is no editing at all... all my photographs are SOOC unless otherwise stated. The sky & sea colours REALLY were that amazing!!

Highlight & Scenic Sunday: Mornington Peninsula
After an extremely busy week being "Mum's Taxi" for my daughter who had musical rehearsals until midnight most nights and performances over the weekend, I flew to Melbourne on Sunday afternoon for 10 days R & R with my parents. They live in a beach suburb called Mt Martha. There will be MANY photos taken over the next week.
Here are a few shots of the nearby Mornington Yacht Club & Mills beach.
