Macro Winter Poppies

I took these macros in July, when I borrowed my friends macro lens for a week. I love the tiny details you are able to capture; details unseen by the human eye.

I really like your last 3 shots - the first one of the last 3 looks like the petals opposite one another and gracefully moving up and down and taking turns with the other pair. Your close ups really hone in on the vibrant colours in the flower.

Great detail. I like the way you can see the pollen dusted down onto the petals.

They are great pictures - I really like the way a macro lens can open a whole you world to see.

Glad you like the water strider - I've just about got over my flight from Dubai - well maybe!
