Well, after agreeing and organising to be picked up by one of these friends, who lived close by, I proceeded to have a night of absolutely NO sleep. I hope this doesn't become the norm for sunrise shoots!!

Oh wow, these are awesome photos! The first one is stunning and I love the 2nd shot with the bird!
That first shot is absolutely gorgeous! Well worth getting up for, although hard after a sleepless night. I'm not a morning person either, but I do love the few shots I've gotten of the sunrise.

Beautiful! These and the tree photos were definitely worth being up early! Sorry you didn't get any sleep, though. I tend to find it goes the same for me. If I have to be up for something, it seems I don't sleep as much as I'd like.
