There isn't a huge definition in our seasons, and some times I really miss the beauty of those distinct seasonal changes.
Just as the seasons of nature constantly change, life also transitions naturally from one season to the next. Some seasons are more difficult than others, but as we journey through life it is important to remind ourselves that the different seasons we experience are just as temporary as they are in nature.
The seasons in life serve to build character, help us grow, make us stronger, teach us about life and prepare us for the future. It is also important to find peace and gratitude, even through the difficult seasons...

I have to remind myself that you are entering Autumn when we are entering Spring. Both are my favorite seasons. You have captured the beginning of your season well.

Those are gorgeous colors! I tend to forget that when we're going into spring you're going into autumn.
I like your commentary accompanying these lovely photos, Liz. I have found that where control of events is not possible, it is still always possible to control our reaction to said events. As for the seasons, there's something to enjoy in each of them, though I do miss the contrasts I got to experience while living in the Northern Hemisphere. I have come to understand our seasons better here and appreciate the little things; instead of red autumn leaves, I think of all the waders turning red as they fly up the coast in autumn :)
