Burleigh Heads in Winter

One beautiful Wednesday (2 weeks ago), we took a drive down to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. It was a perfect winter's day...

There was shell collecting to be done

Sun to soak up, hot tea & a little Instagramming too

My "baby" girl, Bec (aka Through the Lens; RAD Photography ), enjoying time out on her mid year University break

And Michael's "baby" girl, Lizzie, enjoying school holidays

And for those who could, there were waves to catch...

So many beautiful photos and gorgeous landscapes! Looks like a wonderful day! And I wanted to let you know I replied to your comment on my blog since you don't have your email on your blogger account. I left a link there for the color templates. Let me know if you have any questions!

Excellent images that you've taken, and your "babes".

Wonderful photos Liz. I love the one of the city and surfers framed by the pine tree. Fun seeing your babies.

great to see a little from Burleigh too; nice escapes but even though they say it's warmer in the water I can't help but wonder about the sea-breeze blowing around your face and walking back out ...brrrr. My feet would be like blocks of ice; too soft?

Wow, what a breath-taking perspective of Gold Coast you have got here! It makes me even more anxious to set my foot there later on during my next holiday season. I will be dropping off some stuff at a storage facility nearby and I was not pretty much looking forward to anything else. However, after seeing these spectacular moments which you have managed to capture, I think Gold Coast is the one thing that is on my mind right now. Thanks for sharing your great experience with us.
