Project 366 Rewind {Week 35}

Day 239 (August 26) - This Noisy Friar Bird visits our back yard numerous times each day. With it's distinctive call, it has proven rather elusive, hiding amongst the branches while feeding, but I have been determined to capture it. It took me around 5 weeks to get a clear shot.

Day 240 (August 27) - Meet "Fluffy", "Noisy" & "Butch". Afternoon chit chat on the fence.

Day 241 (August 28) - My first day out with my new Tamron 90mm macro lens and I was treated with this Blue Triangle Butterfly. I'm amazed I captured anything as it was flitting about all over the place and wouldn't keep its wings still even when resting on a flower.

Day 242 (August 29) - Eastern Water Dragon sunning himself at Roma Street Parklands.

Day 243 (August 30) - Blossoms beginning to flower. A sign that Spring is just around the corner!!

Day 244 (August 31) - Sunset on the last day of winter. We were treated to a spectacular show!!

Day 245 (September 1) - Reflecting... A beautiful day, a lovely drive out west to the Somerset region, via Lake Wivenhoe (Wivenhoe Dam), Esk and our final destination was Lake Somerset (Somerset Dam) for a picturesque sunset shoot.

Beautiful photos, Liz. You did a great job of capturing the butterfly with your new lens. Lovely photo of the sunset on the last day of winter.

I can see you're making the most of your new lens ( my newest one a few months ago was a 60mm macro) - well done on the butterfly shot. Your sunset shot is indeed spectacular.

you do some wonderful trips and to round it off with a sunset photo, that's tops! Loved your friar-bird shot especially Liz, and have lots of fun with your macro lens. Love the butterfly.

Your photo of the Noisy Friar Bird is excellent. I haven't heard of these before. A Tamron 90mm Macro, looking forward to hearing how you find it, it's one I have considered.

I see you got to Roma Street Parklands and captured one of those amazing Water Dragons. Loved the 'chit chat' shot too. Of course, I'm always partial to a bit of sunset colour.

Love that sunset and the names you gave to the birds on the fence. Beautiful photos. And good job capturing the friar bird. The only time I've seen one is at the zoo.
