Wellington Point has to be one of my favourite places for sunset. It was an incredibly windy afternoon which provided the inspiration for some new images. I knew the kite surfers & the windsurfers would be out in force. I wasn't disappointed...
And as the sun set further, the sky took on a red glow due to bushfires on Bribie Island - an island half way between Brisbane & the Sunshine Coast.

I love the golden hues of the sky and the kite surfers silhouette you captured so perfectly.
Wow, these are gorgeous sky captures. Love the colors and the wind surfers!
wat een prachtige kleuren(natuurlijk jammer van de bosbranden) maar hebben jullie er geen last van?
These are spectacular shots!
magnificent light and color, but sad that the intensity of the sunset was due to the bushfires...
What lovely captures of the sunset! The colors are gorgeous. Love the silhouette of the wind surfer in the first photo.

So beautiful! I only wish I could be taking in that scenery myself. Really fantastic shots Liz!

I especially love your first photo - a beautiful silhouette and scene to boot , and your second last one with the sun starting to tuck away for the evening. Renee
