Such sweet little things! I saw these for the first time last year at Echuca. They don't come as inland as Mildura in Vic.

Hi there - Nice bird - I have a very similar image of the same species on the same concrete slabs!!
O'Reilly's is a great place - although I was a little uncomfortable with the feeding station for the Bowerbirds - I was happy to see some away from the Lodge.

I LOVE finches! They are interesting to watch and they make the best little beeping noises. The local finches here aren't as colorful as these beauties, but we are happy to have them in our yard.
