Weekend Reflections: Nudgee Beach

I'm a night owl, always have been. I'm not a morning person at all!

Consequently, I never shoot sunrises. But, last Sunday, a couple of photographer friends and I decided that we would shoot a sunrise at low tide at Nudgee beach. The reflections were wonderful. I absolutely love the light at this time of the day!!

Super reflections Liz. I have to get up every day at 6 am and tomorrow have to travel for work again, rise and shine at 4:45 am.

Greetings,

Gorgeous! I am a night owl, too, but maybe I'll get out someday to shoot a sunrise. ;)

now for the thrill of those two photographs alone; it IS worth the early rising

I like both of these for different reasons - the first one feeling quite powerful and the other with the curved framing. Well done - especially for getting up early! (Thank you for your email). Renee

I can totally agree with you when it comes to early mornings! I'm a night owl myself, even with my illness! That's the problem with our passion of photography the best lighting is either early morning or evening.

Ahh, Liz, you've brought a huge smile to this Nudgee girl. I love that place, know that tree but have never captured it like this! Well done and thank you.
