Late last year, my parents flew up to Brisbane to visit us as well as spending a week at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Michael & I stayed with them for 4 days. It was a welcome break away for us all, and the weather was perfect!
On the Monday, while Dad & Michael went ocean fishing, Mum & I took a walk along the boardwalk on Noosa's main beach and enjoyed some mother-daughter time...
I am incredibly grateful for the time away that we had with Mum and Dad. We don't see them often as almost 2000 km separates us, and I miss them terribly. Although they are both in their 80's now, they are still healthy and still working!!
I value highly my time with my parents once or twice a year... I wish it could be longer and more often. Quality time & creating memories is what I love about time spent with family.

It is an amazing beach Liz, I understand you had a good time there.

Superb pictures!
Your parents have been blessed with longevity and good health. That's something to make you very happy about.

Such tranquil images of Noosa beach, whilst in the street behind chaos reigns with all the holiday traffic.
What a wonderful time for everyone, Liz.
That which memories are made of. xo.
Ah - so beautiful!
Beautiful beach and the scene is awesome.
Worth a Thousand Words
Looks perfect! Beautiful color on the sea.
A beautiful place to spend quality time with your mother!
How wonderful that you were able to visit with your parents. I know from experience that distance can a challenge, and can make time together even more precious. Brilliant photos!
Hello Liz...I love your photo's of Noosa. I can just feel the hot beach...so long since I have been there. I know how you feel about being separated from your parents by distance, especially as they get older. My mum lives in the UK and I do manage to visit her every year. She is in her 80's and not so well and it gets harder to say goodbye to her now. All my kids are still in Brisbane and it is almost a year since I have been up there for a visit...I think a trip is due!
Great photos of a gorgeous place. If I was there, I'd be back, in that shade...
Beautiful photos, Liz. I really enjoyed our time there, too xoxo
