Project 366 Rewind {Week 1}

This year I had decided to complete Project 366. I figured it was a great way to improve my photography through the challenge of taking at least one photograph a day  for the entire year. I am certain to take many more than one much of the time. When searching for a possible link up for my Project 366, I stumbled across "Project 366 Rewind" hosted by Naptime Momtog.

Here's my first week:

One: The theme this week is Fresh Start - New Years Day, first sunset of 2012 with the Glasshouse Mountains (I think that qualifies as a "Fresh Start")

Two: We have some new visitors to our back yard - I am sure there will be plenty of photos of this bird and its young family.

Three: The very next day, they were back but not for too long...

Four:  Frangipani from a different perspective

Five: I loved the light in this one...

Six: Another sunset - love the colours!

Seven: I couldn't resist the leaf texture & detail... and the shadows. So B&W seems fitting for this shot.

I must say, it was a good week - a wonderful start, with our drive to the Glasshouse Mountains, and then this Sunday with our time at Wellington Point. You took lots of amazing photos.

Wonderful way to start your new project. I just adore that first shot. Having looked out on the Glasshouse Mountains myself, I can only say that I wished I had looked on that view at sunset. Your photo is brilliant.
