Another week down, and I'm more organised this week. I've spent many late nights going through my images from May, deleting those I definitely don't want and catching up on editing those I want to keep. I'm almost there... and then my husband took me out today to Bribie Island (about a 40 min drive north of home) and I came home with another 200+ images!
Here are my images from Week 20:
Day 134 (May 13) - Pink Kangaroo Paw
Day 135 (May 14) - I don't own a macro lens but for subjects like this bee, I use my 55-250mm IS kit lens. It beats getting stung by insects I'm allergic to.
Day 136 (May 15) - One of the things I really miss about living in Melbourne is the abundance of trees bearing Autumn colours. Roma Street Parklands didn't disappoint with a few trees bearing some Autumn warmth.
Day 137 (May 16) - Crested Pigeon
Day 138 (May 17) - Black & white duck at Minnippi Parklands
Day 139 (May 18) - Reflections standing tall. I have discovered recently that it's great to embrace these electricity towers.
Day 140 (May 19) - Another sunset at Minnippi Parklands on an afternoon walk.

i love the peace in that last shot. :)
Stunning. I always naturally chose one or two I like the most when it comes to art. But on your site I always love them all!
The electricity towers make for great reflections in the water. I love the reflection of the trees in the sunset shot too. Nice!
Nice job with the bee photo! I wouldn't want to get stung, either. I love the pigeon! It's different from ours. Gorgeous sunset, too!
I´m also a birder so I love those birds. :)
A super nice photo series, great shots ....I especially like the last photo.
Best regards, Karin
Your first and last are my favourites. Another beautiful week of photos.
I'm another one who loves the first and the last shot. The Kangaroo Paw bud is a fabulous photo, and the last shot just exudes a feeling of peace and serenity. It's always a joy popping in to visit!
What a gorgeous set of photos!! That last one especially is spectacular. Wow!
I remember Bribie well, and Pumicstone Passage etc; lovely spot for picnics. I can just imagine being set free with the camera there; lovely photographs you've shared here Liz
I love your photos. You do such a great job.
Oh, those pylons! You either live in constant frustration about them or embrace them. Love the serenity of the last shot. And can't wait to see your images from Bribie.
Very nice set of pictures.
If you can’t beat the power lines you may as well turn them into something attractive!

PS: a quick look back some of my recent posts will get you a burst of autumn colour!
Always such amazing nature shots. The last one looks like a wonderful place to be.
Fantastic shots, Liz. I love the light and bokeh in the first two images.
WOW!! These are amazing!! Love the first two.
Liz these are amazing! What amazes me about your shots is that even though you don't have a macro lens your shots sure look like there taken with one. I also really admire how you get out so much to take shots. I wish I had the time to do that. Oh ya! I have a 5yr old and 8yr old!
That last shot is so well taken - it's really lovely to look at. That's amusing that you had spent all that time sorting through your images and now you've got 200 more!
