On Wednesday afternoon, we went for a drive out west to the Somerset Region for some country photography; particularly around Lake Wivenhoe. The weather was perfect. It's such a beautifully serene & scenic area, which meant almost 300 images to download when I arrived home. Here's just a selection to enjoy...

I love the out of focus fence...fantastic composition.
Beautiful lighting on your landscapes as the sun is going down.
Really beautiful Liz, as is your entire blog...those sunsets - the colour of the sky - stunning. xx
Beautiful photos Liz. I love the sunset and the fences, well all of them.
Thanks for all your nice comments on my latest posts.
oh you had a lovely time of it Liz; a lovely location and you made the most of it by staying around for the sunset photos too; beautiful photos, sounds like you have a bounty now.
Love them all, but fence would be the first on my wall!
I would have liked to look through more of your pics - but particularly enjoyed viewing your 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th captures here - really lovely indeed.
Each shot is so peaceful and pleasant.. wish I were there.
Well done, Liz. Thanks for sharing the beauty.
