I love our drives in the country. I love the contrasts of blue skies, mountains, green trees and green (or brown) pastures.
This day trip was in the Boonah Region which is in the heart of SE Queensland's "Scenic Rim". The surrounding mountains are spectacular. More on this in future posts...
Simplicity, beauty, serenity...

One could get lost in that sky.

wat een ruimte en wat een uitzicht die bergen in de verte, heerlijk.
Oh my Gosh I just want to be there absorbing all that beauty. Wonderful photos. B
Wondrous skies you've got there, Liz. The blue is hypnotizing. :)
I do love how scenic it is!
gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
What lovely country!
All lovely photos! I can't decide if the first or the last is my favorite!
I love your drives in the country, too, Liz especially when you head in that direction. Those mountains still look familiar to me after all these years - and I was used to seeing them from the other side. Boonah is a lovely area, isn't it?
I think, Liz, that it's because I can rarely think of something fresh to say that I rarely comment on your posts. Your photography is superb and the subjects you choose are always interesting. It is a visual delight to visit and often linger and ponder over the photos. It would become very stale though if I said each time that they were superb or if I tried to gradate my comments to fit the degree of superbity (Spillchucker really doesn't like me inventing words).
Anyway I thought I'd tell you that and also mention on this particular post that I was very taken with the sixth photo: not because it was necessarily better than the others but for no other reason than the subject appealed to me very much.
