It's Thursday... or it was...

While I continue to sort through my hundreds of photos from this week, here are some native Australians from last week's visit to Daisy Hill forest.

My husband, Michael says this Koala looks like him at his laptop after 11pm... he's right, you know!!

I've been wanting to capture a Kookaburra for quite some time since I bought my DSLR & the "stalker lens"...

I didn't notice this Wallaby (relative of the Kangaroo) had a joey in her pouch until after I uploaded my photos to my laptop... can you see the leg & tail sticking out? Almost time to go it alone I think.

In fact every Wallaby we came across was carrying a joey... must have been Mumma's feeding time...

OK, Stalker lady... you can go now!!

These Koalas and Pandas have the reputation of being very lazy, is it true?

Cudowne zdjęcia. Uwielbiam misie koala, nawet takie śpiące. Na kangury też lubie patrzeć. Pozdrawiam.
Wonderful pictures. I love koalas, even those sleeping. The Kangaroos also likes to watch. Yours.

Love the kookaburra shots, they are difficult to photograph.

Thanks for the info on where those hills were. Last time I was home I drove from Laidley to Noosa, via Esk. I'd been to a funeral and not in a mood for sightseeing but that drive must have refreshed my memory of them.

Beautiful to see animals native to your country - wow! This is funny - my 23 month old daughter calls me and my husband "Koo-Koo" so we started calling her a Kookaburra bird and she laughs.... and there you have a real kookaburra in front of you! What gorgeous shots!
